Made by hand, start to finish

I cast every head, finish it, and tie every nano tie myself, in batches small enough that I handle every single one. Nothing is mass-produced and nothing is farmed out. I pick the materials because they hold up on the water, and everything is built in the USA.

Every design comes out of real fishing. A bite that wouldn't convert, structure that ate too much tackle, a color that quit working. I build it, fish it hard, change it, and fish it again. What survives makes the lineup, from Sierra trout to spotted bay bass.

I enjoy making the tackle, and I fish it. A lot of species, freshwater and saltwater, and I usually already have the next trip in my head. I serve on the board of my local fishing club, working on the water and on keeping people in the sport.
